About
Çetin Emre Sadi once dreamed of becoming a professional football player. He spent years in the youth academy of a professional club, where strategy, team spirit, and perseverance became the cornerstones of his character. After a career-ending injury forced him to leave the pitch, he decided to build the game in another field.
During his university years, his sense of social responsibility came to the forefront. With the Community Volunteers Foundation, he painted school walls, tutored children in orphanages, and worked on projects that made life easier for people with disabilities. While continuing his education with an MBA, he transformed this passion into action by founding the Büyükçekmece Cycling Club and the Büyükçekmece Futsal Club, with the mission of reaching young people through sports and keeping them away from harmful habits.
In 2011, he stepped into the banking industry, quickly rising to managerial positions. Within a corporate intrapreneurship program, his digital application designed to improve the lives of people with disabilities was awarded first place. This success opened the door to becoming Sales Director of Turkey’s first mobile POS application, enabling businesses to accept payments via smartphones.
In 2016, he entered the fintech world. After roles in product management, startup advisory, and leadership positions in payment institutions, he co-founded Kobe Finansal Teknoloji A.Ş. with his team. Last year, he was recognized among the Top 200 Most Influential People in Finance & Web3 by LinkedIn Turkey. Today, he stands on stage as a leader striving to transform not only the technical depth of the sector but also its cultural narrative.
This year, he published his book “Ne Anladım Ben Bu Fintek’ten” (“What Did I Understand from This Fintech”), which reflects not only his professional journey but also his aspirations, disappointments, rebirths, and the process of becoming a figure in the industry.
